Schedules of some public transport routes to change as of June 1

„Rīgas satiksme” informs that as of June 1 new working day and holiday schedules will be introduced on some public transport (bus, tram, trolleybus) routes. Like in previous years, „Rīgas satiksme” will make changes in schedules of bus routes No. 3, 24, 29, 30 and 36 to improve transportation to beaches of Mangaļsala, Vecāķi, Daugavgrīva and Vakarbuļļi.

As the summer season starts, „Rīgas satiksme” will change schedules of some public transport routes in line with passenger flow, and, like every year, will ensure more comfortable transportation to Riga beaches, allotments and recreation places.

From June 1 till August 31 working day schedules will be introduced on bus routes No. 9, 12, 37 and 41 and on tram route No. 4. There will be also changes in working day and holiday schedules of bus routes No. 19, 29, 36 and trolleybus routes No. 15 and 22.

Also from June 1 and until the end of the summer season bus route No. 29 will be extended to Vecāķi, i.e. bus No. 29 will run by route „Mežciems – Vecmīlgrāvis – Vecāķi”. We draw your attention to the fact that on working days bus No. 29 departing at 8:31 from Mežciems will only run to the „Vecmīlgrāvis” terminal.

To provide a more comfortable transportation to recreation places of Riga, from June 4 the number of runs on tram route No. 11 will be increased on holidays.

For the period starting on June 4 and until the end of the summer season, but not earlier than until August 31, changes will be made in holiday schedules of bus routes No. 2, 3, 15, 24 and 31.

On Saturdays, Sundays and festive days, from approximately 7:30, bus No. 3 will run to Vakarbuļļi beach, and from June 4 bus No. 30 will also run on Saturdays, Sundays and festive days.

To improve regularity of traffic, working day schedules of trolleybus routes No. 19 and 24 will be changed.
